Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some general FAQs about massage therapy that might be relevant for West End Women’s Health:

Is massage safe during pregnancy?

Yes—when performed by a Registered Massage Therapist with prenatal training, massage is safe and beneficial during all stages of a healthy pregnancy. I tailor each treatment to your trimester, with special positioning, gentle techniques, and support for common concerns like back pain, hip tension, and swelling.

How can massage support me after giving birth?

Postnatal massage can help relieve muscle tension from birth and infant care, support recovery, and reduce stress. It also offers a valuable moment of rest and care during a demanding time.

Can massage therapy help with chronic pain or headaches?

Yes. I have a particular interest in supporting clients with chronic pain, tension headaches, and stress-related discomfort. Together, we’ll explore both hands-on treatment and at-home care to support lasting relief.

Do you offer home care or exercises after the treatment?

Absolutely. I provide personalized home care strategies—like stretches, posture tips, and relaxation techniques—to help you get the most out of your massage between sessions.

How often should I come in for a massage?

It depends on your goals and conditions. Some clients benefit from weekly sessions, while others come biweekly or monthly. We’ll create a plan that fits your needs.
