West End Women’s Health is a multi-disciplinary clinic located in the Bloor West neighborhood of Toronto. We are looking to add a skilled and motivated chiropractor to our team. You will be working collaboratively with our physiotherapist and massage therapist. Excellent hands on/manual therapy skills are a must, as well as the ability to build and maintain a caseload.

The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal communication skills and can easily build a rapport with young professionals and weekend warriors alike!

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Chiropractic
• Registration with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario
• Certifications including but not limited to acupuncture, rehab and CPR
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and able to work independently
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making and analysis
• The ability to work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team.

Accountabilities:

• Perform clinical assessments, set goals and provide treatment plans for clients
• Initiate appropriate treatment intervention based on clinical assessment
• Provide ongoing evaluation of client progress
• Meet and or exceed productivity standards
• Administer and collect outcome measurement information
• Supervise support staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Communicate to appropriate referral sources and stakeholders
• Develop a care plan with the client based on the assessment
• Document client care activity concisely and accurately, according to College guidelines and Care for standards

West End Women’s Health is looking for a registered pelvic floor physiotherapist to work 2-3 days per week. A table is provided for you, as is reception, advertising and so on.

The ideal candidate:

• Level 1, 2, & 3 for pelvic floor PT is preferable
• Education in both incontinence and pain related disorders
• Ability to work independently in a supportive environment
• Ability to provide one-on-one client care

Responsibilities include:

• Interacting with all clients in a warm, approachable, and professional manner
• Building rapport and engaging with clients
• Cross-referring to other professional services where beneficial to the client
• Maintaining the space and equipment to the highest possible standards
• Growing and building a strong client base for pelvic health physiotherapy

We are looking for that special person who is friendly and personable in greeting our patients, who feels comfortable in one on one conversations answering their questions and transmitting our providers' instructions.

Receptionist responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Patient Intake, confirm patient information, direct them to correct location
• Answer phones, take messages, return calls
• Prepare patient charts
• Schedule patients for testing, contact patients with appointments
• Fax, photocopy, file patient chart information
• Receive goods ordered; assists in maintaining stock of products in clinic dispensary
• Ordering clinic supplies
• Prioritize workload
• Greeting patients
• Light cleaning
• Run laundry for linens; transfer to dryer and fold

Post-secondary education (preferred)
Flexible, team-player approach with flexibility to take on a range of duties in the office
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient skills with MS Office including Word, Excel.
